About Kailey
I am a mom to Thomas and Katherine and wife to Andy. Born and raised a Michigan girl, I moved to Colorado right after college and have been loving life near the mountains ever since. I'm a big family girl (oldest of six!) and love making memories with my people. In the summers you can find me flower gardening, or reading outside with a glass of wine. Winters are spent holiday carding, stovetop simmering, and watching my husband and kids ski.
I firmly believe every holiday and life event deserves to be celebrated big.
I began designing stationery in 2010 when I got engaged and couldn't find invitations that met my expectations, so I created my own. Kailey Marie Designs was officially born in 2014 when I left my corporate job to be a stay-at-home mom. KMD quickly grew as I eagerly helped newly engaged friends and family create pretty paper pieces for their own weddings and special events.
As my clients' celebrations shifted from weddings and bridal showers to baby announcements, birthday parties and holiday cards, my designs adapted. While I enjoy all types of stationery, holiday card season brings me so. much. joy and I look forward to it every year.
